Asbestos Testing
Avoid Adverse Health Risks

Asbestos is a mineral that was commonly used in the 1930’s-50’s in commercial and industrial products. Things that included asbestos was insulation, asbestos sheets, gaskets, vinyl tiles, and flooring/roofing matieral. Many homes built from 1930-1950 could have asbestos insulation. Generally, asbestos material in good condition will not release asbestos fibers, but getting a test done is never a bad idea. Breathing high levels of asbestos fibers can lead to Asbestosis, Mesothelioma, and even Lung Cancer. Our inspectors will take a sample of what is suspected to be asbestos, and it is then sent to a lab for testing. Generally, results are expected within 2-3 business days.
